Quand Christopher, jeune autiste asperger surdoué en mathématiques, de 15 ans, 3 mois et 2 jours, retrouve mort Wellington, le chien de la voisine, Mme Shears, « une fourche plantée dans le ventre », il se lance dans une enquête à la Sherlock Holmes : attentif aux micro-détails, ce héros pas comme les autres, analyse tout ce qu’il voit, les sens en éveil, et interroge tour à tour chacun...
